April graduated from the Hong Kong Baptist University with a Bachelor's degree in Social Work (First Class Honours) and the recipient of multiple scholarships, April has worked as a senior social worker for many years, providing individual counseling (including addiction and crisis management), family services, and group work.

In addition to social work, April has also worked as a stage actor and television host, with a passion for the arts and drama. She is currently a counselor, Yin Yoga Therapist (trained in Thailand and India), and drama education worker (also serving as a drama director, playwright, and director), collaborating with mentors from different fields in the arts and entertainment industry to integrate artistic education based on the developmental needs of the target audience, inspiring their artistic talents, and promoting their physical, mental, and spiritual health.
